Lbs burned? And what is "Talkative" and "Intense"?

asked over 3 years ago | Report

Hello,

I recently started tracking my runs on dailymile and I have to say that this is a great website to track my training and stay motivated.

However, even after logging in almost 10 workouts, I still see "0 Lbs burned" on my training page. I have added my original weight to my profile but this value never changes. Any ideas?

Also, on the training page, what do "Talkative" and "Intense" mean? What are they supposed to track? Is there some extra data that I am not tracking?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Amit

  • Talkative has to do with the number of comments on your workouts, and intense has to do with the effort level you indicate when you make the workout entry.

I don't know the answer to your question about lbs burned.

  • I am assuming that 1lb fat = 3500 calories.

  • You have to log a run, and then click more details. In the more details section click the circular arrow next to calories burned and it will calculate the number of calories burned for that workout and your other workouts and then pounds burned will show up. At least this did it for me.
