My @Friend doesn't work!

When I'm posting a workout and I want to mention a DM friend I type @DMFriend and expect a drop down of suggestions to click on. This has only worked for me on an odd occasion or two. Am I doing stuff wrong or is there a bug??

  Use the @name approach, and watch for a drop-down menu to appear, then select the name you want to use, and hit enter. The name will appear unadorned, but when you publish, your friend will be properly referenced.
