SF Bay Area Triathlon Planning

Morning, I'm looking to compete in an Olympic in late October or early November. I had been training for the Pumpkinman in Boulder City, Oct 15.

But I realize now I can not afford the time away to get there and back as well as hotels and travel expenses.

I see the there is one is San Rafael 11/6, but it's over $200 for entries (sheesh)

  I'd recommend trifind.com or active.com to find them.

  I'm interested in the new HITS series in palm springs in december, but other than that triathlon is "sort of" out of season until the spring.

  And yah, the damn race entries for tri's are a bit more expensive than running races. It's a bitch, but I think the environment at the tri races are much more inviting.
