I just ran for the first time today in many years. Like twenty, using C25K app. I feel good, but in a lot of pain at the moment. Looking for people for motivation and also people who are new to this like I am.
Slow down. I know you probably don't think you're running that fast yet. Whatever pace you're running... slow down. Run really really easy. don't worry about pace yet. build your base first.
if you want to do this- you can. There will be times ahead that things will hurt. If you want this- you CAN do it. find a way around each injury and pain. 95% of all running pains and injuries get better with rest.
