Hello everyone! I'm new to dailymile and running. I was looking for a hobby and something to help get me healthier. I live near a bike trail so decided why not try running. I've never done it before and am starting the couch to 5k program. I could really use all the motivation and advice I can get. Please add me!
Welcome to DM! I did the couch to 5k program last year, it really does work. Two pieces of advice. Don't skips weeks in the program and don't be bummed if you have to repeat weeks. When I started I did the first week and thought it was too easy, but a friend warned me to take it week by week and assured me that it would be difficult soon enough. By week 4 (damn first 5 minute one) I had to repeat.
