Beginner Running

New to DM

So it's been some 17 years since sports were my life (highschool) and now it seems I have an addiction. About 3 months ago I started walking on my lunch and about 3 weeks of that I was BORED. So making my way back to work I started to jog and that's all she wrote. Now I bring clothes etc to work each day to run in and have been able to do about 4 miles in my hour lunch. I use runkeeper but think I'm going to switch to Nike + to see which one I like better. I did my first real 5K on July 28th. I say real because I rean the Warrior Dash last year but ended up getting held up by my running partner who just wanted to walk the entire thing. I was excited that I made it w/in 30 minutes and running the entire thing. My next 5K is Aug 18th and I hope to beat my 27 min mark. I say addition because it seems as though I may be rushing running 4 days a week 4 miles a day because my joints are tender and continue to be.
