You may have noticed that I also got started from work. I did a modified Couch to 5K with friends at work. I have just kept going. My co-worker also recommended this site.

Oh cool.
I use Runmeter for iPhone, doing the 5k plan. I am not sure how the 5k plan from Runmeter compare to this c25k plan ...
I am just a guy looking for to lose a bit of weight and get fit ...

~75-80kgIm starting my second week now, its been hard, but its getting better now, easier to do this 5k plan (run+walk) for about 30min ...

I too am a newbie, i completed my first 5k in 58 min. My goal was an hour so im glad that i beat that. Once you get one down its like an addiction to go do another one. If you start loosing your motivation put some post it notes up (on bathroom mirror) to remind you why you should keep pushing forward. It definitely helps.
