I'm traditionally from a running background, but recently got into cycling since it is part of triathlons. I found out this year that cycling is an awesome way to keep in shape, without the pounding that running exerts. In fact, I place a large part of my running improvement on the cycling volume I did this year - the long multi-hour rides at low HR really help with aerobic conditioning.
The only suggestion I can make regarding cycling is to make sure you get fitted for the bike, if you haven't already. That, and don't be afraid to change out the saddle if you experience numbness. You'll know what I mean when/if you have that problem.

Thanks for the tips! I did get sized up for the bike and I feel good on it.
As for running, right now I don't know if I'll go back. The pounding and flakey injuries were taking their toll. It was getting old.
