I know the frustration Kimberly Ann! I had worn my Apple headphones for a long time and about a year ago I got fed up with them falling out. I ended up buying the Sony MDR-AS20J sport headphones and they have been great since. They have a rubber loop that keeps them secure on my ear and the audio quality is great. As far as sweat proof, I think that they will solve your problem since the bud is completely wrapped around your ear. Hope this helps!

Try the 2XL groove. You can get them at Radio Shack, or online. I had the same problem, and these work flawlessly. They are only 20 bucks. Very comfortable and zero problems with sweat.

have tried all sorts of headphones and invested quite some money through the years to find what would suit me well. In my experience, the sport headphones should suffice but nothing compares to a good in-ear (ear-canal) headphone.
Try looking at the Sennheiser CX 281 (http://www.sennheiserusa.com/private_headphones_earbuds-and-ear-canal-headphones_for-women_502846) - it's a bit pricier at $69.95 SRP (i'm sure there are cheaper ones on ebay) but you can't go wrong with em. Plus, these are made for women so it should be a plus for you.
When running, i never had one come off and the noise-cancellation is very good.
Cheers!

I bought these…
…fairly recently and LOVE them. Around $35 at Amazon …I've seen them in retail stores, but for nearly twice that. Not only is Sennheiser a good brand, that sounds good, but these are specifically designed for sport use. Not only are they advertised as water and sweat resistant, but the design loops them both around the top of your ear, and the back of your head so you've got them locked in a couple of different directions. I haven't noticed so much as a slip of these once they're in position while running.
The way they insert in your ears is a little different than the normal earbuds, the speakers sit more across your ear canal, rather than being pressed into your ear (creating a seal). To me this is an advantage, because it doesn't COMPLETELY block out ambient and surrounding noise, so you can still hear your surroundings and what's going on. I typically keep my headphone volume very low anyway, and want it more as background noise.

Thank you for all the responses! I'm going to do some eBaying around to see which of these is out there for what price. Hopefully I will find at least one that will work well!
