I don't listen to music often when I run but when I need a little extra motivation I use my Ipod
I have everything form Bee Gees to Iron Maiden.
For my hour run
set up with easy music for about 8 to 10mins then the rest faster to pick up pace then another 10mins cool downposted 4 months ago

I'm going to check out these songs thanks! I usually drown out the music when I run but I like to have something with a beat to kinda keep me going!

You should check out Girl Talk! He does mash-ups but keeps the same beat throughout each of his albums, so you can listen to an hour straight and keep the same beat!

You should check out jog.fm. It's a website where you put in your pace and it will recommend songs that have the right beats per minute for the pace you're running. Pretty cool!

I second Katie. Girl Talk is also my go-to running mix. Great mash-ups, and can be downloaded for free. Word of caution for those with sensitive ears- the rap/hip hop mixes may offend some.

Check out rockmyrun.com A music site by runners for runner's. You do have to pay for the credits, but I find the cost to be very reasonable for the music that you get. No affiliations whatsoever, just a happy rockmyrun user.

If you are doing any time on a cycle, even stationary, you might like to try VeloBeats (http://soundcloud.com/velobeats). Mixes that help you keep a good training pace while spinning.
