training/running at camp

asked about 2 years ago | Report

I'm about to head out to an overnight camp on the 18th for two weeks. It's basically the highlight of my summer because this place is SO SICK.

my schedule has two full hours of soccer each day, with trampoline and a bunch of games for us at night, and sailing.

my question is... how should I run? Obviously I want to keep it up over the weeks, but we are up early for breakfast and I'd rather do it in the morning before everyone has to watch me jog (1,000 kids each week....)

advice please and thank you, would soccer be enough for training? I also have access to cross training.

  • you might see others running too. keep an eye peeled or try an 30 min easy run when you have some down time

  • A couple of us set up a pre-breakfast running club that worked well at our camp. There were allways a few kids that were game, we'd only do 30 mins or so but with all the other activities your doing during the day it was more than enough.
