Grand Island Trail 10k & Marathon Reviews (2)

I've participated in the 10k run for several years now, and just love it. I can't wait to do the marathon in 2010! Just a wonderful place to run.

Ran it for the first time in 2009. Most scenic peaceful run I have had. Not an easy course but not the most difficult, I'm sure. The course is mostly wooded, so youur Garmin might have you short on miles so plan on a back-up if you want to know where you are.

The race people and volunteers are great but there is minimal support as stated on the website. The only negative - food at the finish was not great to say the least. Plan to bring your own if bananas and carob coated trail mix aren't your bag.

Looking forward to 2010!
