  The weather gets better each year

  This was my third year running the River Run, and it's been great fun each year. I liked the route from 2 years ago a little better, as we got to see a bit more downtown instead of being routed behind the Maxwell Coffee building as we were this year and last. This year definitely beat the weather last year, hands down. It was cool and just breezy enough. Many of the roads along the route had been recently repaved, saving no small amount of ankle strain. The painting of the Green Monster (Hart bridge) this year also added a bit of shade and wind cover to the last mile. I do so love this run, and will keep coming back as long as I'm able.
