The 2012 event will begin at the Lolo Pass Visitor Center (elev. 5225) on Highway 12, at the Idaho-Montana border. The half-marathon winds for 13 miles through forests of Engleman Spruce and White Pine, with dramatic views of the Bitterroot Mountains in the distance.
