This was a challenging race because of the hills. The first mile is mostly down hill. The second mile is all up hill as you go into Randolph Macon Academy. The third mile goes up and down.

You do have to keep an eye on traffic as you come out of RMA. You have to cross the street there and traffic is a little busy at that location.

Overall, a nice course, but you have to really watch your pace because of all the hills. The first mile is a fast one.
