  Good turnout to run a challenging course

  One of Winchester, VA's most popular 5K's is run every year on July 4th. The course goes through Jim Barnett Park and Shenandoah University.

  The four large hills make this course very challenging. I have to give this race five stars because the race director and the volunteers always do a great job organizing a race that always attracts a large number of runners.
