The run begins at Gothic, 8.56 miles north of Crested Butte in Colorado. The course winds through aspen woods and meadows from Gothic through Mt. Crested Butte on a dirt road, past the ski resort, on pavement, ending on Elk Avenue in downtown Crested Butte. Runners will follow... the Gothic Road, running on the east side of the road thru MT CB to the Rec path, following the Rec path down the mountain to CB, picking up Gothic Rd in CB, turning south onto 5th and then west onto Elk Avenue. read more
