1st annual Trail Animals Running Club (TARC) Spring Classic Trail Race. Hosted by TARC, this will become an annual addition to the New England trail running scene. A traditional low-key, welcoming trail running community atmosphere and event. No swag, no awards, no whinning! w...e will report race results to Ultrarunning Magazine, Ultrasignup and Realendurance.com. Ideal trail race for those new to trail running as well as veteran ultra runners. Distances offered: 10K, half-marathon, marathon and 50K. Fully stocked single aid station at start/finish, GU Brew and Chomps. Technical short-sleeve t-shirt available. Be sure to bring bottle to carry hydration. Course Description: Pristine trails in the woods of bucolic Weston, MA, located just seven miles west of Boston. Course is 10K loop that is 100% trails, mostly single track, flat with a few rolling hills, rocks, roots, creek crossings and a little mud thrown in. Will be a fast course. read more
