Well organised, excellent route
Despite awful weather, HCR was a great experience. Some initial orientation problems at the Olympic Stadium to pick up numbers/timing chips, but that's my only gripe. The route is excellent and the whole event (11 000 people!) was well organised (places for bags, enough people to ask for help etc...).
Special thanks to excellent first-aid corps, although I'd have preferred not getting to know that :)

Great route, good race
HCR was my first half-marathon (even my first running race...), and I almost couldn't be more satisfied with the event. All of the organisation was very well done, I did not have to wait in lines (I picked up my race number the day before), and all the organisers were friendly.
The route was magnificent. Small height differences, just enough so that the race wasn't boring and flat. Very twisting route, no long straights. Most of the route was on asphalt in the city, but about one third ran in the central park on gravel pathways.
At some points (especially at the beginning) there was some congestion (due to the 10,000+ runners!), but it did not hurt the race too much.
I even liked the after-race free snacks. :)
All in all, a great race!
