The Race
The fourth annual Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon will take it to the streets of San Jose on October 5, 2009. 16 premier local Bay Area bands are set to play on 14 stages along the course to keep participants movin’ and groovin' towards the finish line! Runners and walke...rs will be treated to everything from classic rock to R&B and reggae to disco.

The Course

Fantastic Destination

Checking weather...
The event was very well organized. Really good bands played musice along the route. The course took you through scenic neighborhoods before finishing out in San Pedro Square. Over 14,000 participants. The cool temps and low humidity this time of year makes for ideal running conditions. My previous best time in the half marathon was 1:58:18. I set a new mark of 1:45:22. I won't be able to run that fast back home in Texas.
