As many as 1,000 runners are expected to participate in the 13th Annual Creek Classic, which will start at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2009. A 10K, 5K and a 1-mile-fun-run will be staged at Deer Creek Middle School, 21175 North MacArthur Blvd. in Northwest Edmond. The Creek ...Classic is the annual fundraiser for the Deer Creek Public Schools’ PTO. The proceeds benefit all six of the current Deer Creek school sites and are used to purchase technology and resource materials to enhance our children’s education. Timing Fast accurate results will be provided by DG Productions using the latest ChampionChip timing systems. Timing chips may be picked up at Early Packet Pick-up on Friday, March 6 from 3:00-7:00PM at the race location or on race day morning. The timing chip must be attached to each runner’s shoe. Zip ties will be provided. Breakfast: Immediately following the race, the Deer Creek Track Team Boosters will be providing participants a complimentary breakfast. The meal is worth the entry fee! T-Shirt: Everyone who is pre-registered by February 21st will be guaranteed a long-sleeved T-shirt! Massages: Work out those kinks after your run. Massages provided by Central State Massage Therapists. Door Prizes: Awarded during breakfast. Packet Pick-up All packet pick-up will be at the New Deer Creek Middle School Practice Gym located at 21175 North MacArthur. The hours will be: Friday, March 6, 2009 3:00 – 7:00PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 7:30-8:30AM We strongly encourage everyone to pick-up their packet on Friday due to large crowds on Saturday morning. We will also be hosting our Creek Classic Market during packet pick-up at our new indoor facility.
