Highway to Hale 10K
My second running of the Highway to Hale 10K. This is such a great race! Everything about it except the course is really fun (there are some pretty bad hills, and you run on some pretty busy streets). :)

This year Brita, Mason, Tracy, Shauna, Nate, Hannah, and I all ran it, and had a lot of fun. Brita painted a turtle nose, Tracy dressed as Hermoine, and Mason and I painted our faces like the Highway to Hale shirts, for which we won first place in the costume contest! It was great!
I went 53 seconds slower than my time last year, but was still ok with my final time of 44:15.7. I finished 2d in my age group, 2.3 seconds behind the guy who took first, 14 overall men, and 17th overall.
