  well organized

  I don't really have much experience with races but I could tell this was a very well organized event. Although the conditions were cold and miserable, it didn't slow us down. I enjoyed myself.

  Well organized and pretty fast too.

  Very good race. High marks for traffic control, volunteer support, finish-line organization, and quickly tabulated results. Also nice amenities and a reasonable entry fee. Plus it benefits what I happen to think is a very worthy charity - what more could you ask for?

  The certified course is fairly flat except for a few minor hills in miles 4 and 6. It would be PR-friendly with better weather (I don't run well in the rain). There were 260 finishers for this first running of the event; that's a larger-than-average race for this area, but by no means crowded. The course covers a mixture of downtown streets in a small city and pleasant residential neighborhoods.

  Highly recommended.
