Good Race...poorly managed...
This was a cool small race, only about 200 runners. The course was fast and flat and a simple out and back. The two things I didn't really care for were both related to race management. They started about 25 minutes late. Apparently, getting the barricades in place to block off the streets was the issue. Fingers were pointed back to local law enforcement but I suppose it's hard to say exactly who's to blame. The staging area was by the finish which was great and the starting line was about 1/4 away from the staging area which is fine. The problem was the starting line was marked very poorly by super small signs and there were no race officials at the start when the majority of the runners got there. I missed the starting line and ran down the street about 1/4 mile till I looked back and saw people behind me turning around.
