    Great Race!

    Tough course, but what a blast. Loved running through the water. Strange that it only measured 12.5 - surely they could have found another .6 to add on. Will definitely do again next year.

    Great Race!

    I liked the fact that it was 2 loops. Knew what was coming the 2nd time around.

    I'm not much of a trail runner... need to adjust your overall expectations for pace.

    I'm wondering how it would have felt to just run through the water versus using the rocks?

    Suggestions I'll send to Off N Running:
    - Perhaps 1 more water cooler during 8K portion would be nice. I'll carry a bottle next year.
    - Can they find a little more distance to run it up to a 1/2 marathon distance or atleast a full 21K?

    Definitely want to do it again next year.

    Can you have more fun!

    Great race and the weather cooperated-would have been a bit too wicked muddy as well. For all the change in gradient (grades) it was a fairly fast course outside of the creek obstacle and the nasty horse trail with hoof prints 3 inches deep. Water stops were fine and the 8K was started for the most part enough apart--but still should give another 10 minutes of separation as I passed a good 20+ people still finishing and passing on the trail is tough from couple standpoints--1) can hardly blame less experienced runners for knowing to move over 2) nasty on the ankles, etc. to try and pass at all with all the switchbacks. Next year this race will hopefully be 13.1 miles.

    Good fun!

    I truly enjoyed the race and the course. Hopefully, they will correct the distance for next year. I love running trails and splashing trough the water. I felt like a kid out there. I would recommend this race for sure.
