  Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon

  Well organized, scenic course, great volunteers, plenty of porta potties. Except for the humidity, it was a great experience for my 2nd marathon!

  Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon

  Legs shut down at mile 21-22 and walked most of the way after that. Had been forced to have exaggerated taper (mostly elliptical workouts) for a month before the race due to nagging soreness in the top of right foot, but I was hoping for fresh legs to do the job. Didn't work that way... The soreness in the right foot was not too bad during the race. It's just that quads shut down on both sides. Learned that elliptical cannot be a substitute for running. It's just x-training.
