Did this race last year, It was fun. There were not a lot of people out watching which I actually preferred. It was hilly, but actually quite scenic. Spent some time at Point Defiance. There is a nasty little stretch along the highway miles 20 - 23 that were weren't enjoyable but other than that I loved it and would totally recommend doing it.
