First Marathon
This was my first marathon and it was awesome. So glad the rain stayed away. I loved the course. The volunteers were awesome. It was just a great overall experience. Thanks!
My only complaint would be the fact that there didn't seem to be enough trash cans at the water stations for the first half of the race.

Honda LA Marathon 2012
I guess I pushed myself at this race! Had fun overall and despite "suffering" in the heat, I achieved a personal best/record! Chip time is 5:16:54 -- previous best was at last year's storm (5:29:26). Imagine if it rained a bit, then I probably wouldn't have cramped up. Oh, I spent about 10 minutes in the porta-john, um, #2 (LOL). Note to self: do not eat honey stinger waffle at the start line! ;) I wanna thank my sis Minel D. for getting me through to the finish (again!) She turned around around mile 25.5 and looked for me so we could finish together (that and she needed to do 30mi training that day anyway! LOL). I also PR'd my 1/2 marathon split!
