Founded in 1998 by Scott Leopold, Swim for Life is an annual 2.25-mile swim across Lake Washington in August. The 2011 swim is on August 17. Swimmers are encouraged to swim in teams of four plus a kayaker for safety. You can use this Facebook group to connect with and form tea...ms with other swimmers or kayakers interested in the event. Swim for Life will raise money to add donors to the National Bone Marrow Registry (Be the Match).
