Featuring a course that takes runners along the trails through the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge just a few miles south of Chesapeake, Va., the aptly named Dismal Swamp Stomp Half Marathon features a 13.1-mile "romp" along the lush wetland forests of the Dismal S...wamp Canal Trail and the lands that make up the wildlife refuge.
