Half Marathon Review
It's a little late, but I just realized that I never wrote a review of this race. This was my first half-marathon, so my experience was colored by that fact. Otherwise, the temperature was nice and cool, and the course is a mix of public roads (closed for the event), parks, and greenway trails through woods and over lakes. Overall the event was well staffed, started on time, and was well managed by the local running store "Off N' Running", who seem to do a great job at the events they run.
I will plan to run this race next year, but before that, I will increase my hill training. There weren't many step grades, but quite a few long slow rises, particularly the last half of the out and back course.
