Not much improvement from last year

    - slower full marathoners got jammed at the final few KM with the fun runners / 10k runners, their timing got screwed big time.
    - slower full marathoners have no water at the final few water stations, because they were all taken by fun runners / 10k runner. Imagine after 33km, tired, thirsty, hot sun, no water.
    - when they finally reach the finishing line, there were no more medals and there were only XL finishing-Ts, because the organizer failed to make sure only full marathoners got them, they were mistakenly given to many non-full marathoners

    Penang Bridge Internation Marathon 2011

1.) Overall I think it is a quite successful event although there is a little mess here and there. However, there are still area for improvement.
2.) The race T is good but the finisher T is a bit 'ordinary' and the quality seems like 'so so' only. I agree that the organizer should give gold medal to full marathoner for all the effort to complete the whole course.
3.) Water stations are a little bit lacking, especially after 21km, but it actually make the race more challenging. That is very very different from races in Spore that offer isotonic and water every 1 or 2 km after the half course.
4.) The water stations, power gel or food station shall be arrange in a better way. Bread is not a good food during marathon because it simply absorb all the moisture that I had in my mouth. Bad... I just took one bite.
5.) There should be more control over the finisher T distribution, I thought of getting another one too because there was no marking on the number. (Just kidding) but many has taken advantages on it.
6.) The organizer shall brief runners from every category to give priority to longer distance runner and fast runners. Some people are wandering on the bridge and FM runners has to make extra effort to excuse or overtake them.
7.) Last but not least, FM runners shall be given priority lane or booth for drinks, food, medical aid and massage after completing the 42.195km. Please...
