This will be a "Fat Ass" run meaning no shirt, no medal, no entry fee, and little or no aid. We have a volunteer that will be a moving aid station throughout the night!
We will also have shorter options for those of you who would like to join us but not for the full 50 miles! If you're interested in these shorter distance please let me know.
Check back here regularly as I'll be adding details as I get them.
The Macomb Orchard Trail is 23.5 miles long. To get us to 50 miles, we'll add 1.5 miles of the Clinton River Trail to each direction.

about 1 year agoOnly 209 people have ever completed the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning.
This year, there are four people from Michigan attempting the Grand Slam and, last year, Michigan had its first Grand Slammer.
It appears that all five of these Michigan runners will be running this race!
