America Discovery Trail Marathon
Well I finished I finished the race. I had real time goals but I did have two main goals, first to have a good race in a higher altitude climate, and second, run a marathon without cramping up. I have to say that I accomplished my first goal. It was a good race, great course, great weather and I had a great support system of friends that came to support. My second goal not so much, was doing pretty good till mile 22 and my quads gave up/locked up which made those last 4 miles painful and slow as I stopped every three to four tenths of a mile to walk it off and stretch. Overall, it was still a good race.
