The swim portion takes place along Lake Michigan's pristine lakefront, followed by a bike ride on the Bike Course thru the scenic countryside of Racine County and finishes with a run on the Run Course through Racine'...s quaint, historic neighborhoods. With its beautiful scenery, spirited people, and resplendent culture the Spirit of Racine presents an exciting triathlon for first timers and seasoned veteran competitors. The Spirit of Racine weekend has three amazing events from which to choose. The Spirit of Racine Half Triathlon is the main event. It consists of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike ride and a 13.1 miles run all thru the amazing backdrop of Racine Wisconsin. The Women's Only Tri and the Blue Wave Sprint bring you a 750m swim, a 12.4 miles bike ride, and a 3.1 mile run. read more
