Warrior Dash 2011!
Fire, cargo net, mud pit, climbing walls, barbed wire, cave crawls - what's not to love about this event? Follow it up with live rock band performances, smoked turkey legs, beer and a big ol' party, and you have damn near the best event ever!
Seriously though, props to the crew who planned and executed this one. Everything from parking, registration, back check, entertainment and post race food and fun was well thought out. With the exception of ... the showers. I was one of the idiots who snorkeled my way through the mud pit, and ended up getting mud caked in every hole from top to bottom, including my eye holes. Im still cleaning out the sand and mud, but the day of the event, the showers were a #fail - almost had to have someone spit in my eyes to be able to see. Other than that. Kick ass.
