Last year's innaugural Run for Missions 5K and 10K races in Haviland, Kansas, were a huge success. They were well organized and well run. This year, these races will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011. A half marathon may be added to the slate of events for those with a ...taste for the longer distances. It will begin at 8:00am. The other races begin at 9:00am. Thanks to the many race sponsors, 100% of race fees provide needed funds to the EFC-MAYM missions scholarship fund which helps students in the Friends Church prepare for service as Friends missionaries.
