  Snickers Albany Marathon-Albany, GA

  Kudos to Snicker's Albany Marathon for a great race. I couldn't believe all the race volunteers that hung in there despite the rain, tornado sirens, thunder, and lightening. There was plenty of aid (fruit, Hammer Gel, water, gator aid and smiling faces) all along the course. Even the neighbors gave a hand. I really appreciated the help from the local police and volunteers in navigating the streets through the puddles and wind. It was a very challenging race, but to see all of the volunteers still standing in ankle deep mud cheering for me until my last step across the finish line was priceless! Thanks Albany. I would definitely return!
