Freedom Marathon Inc., a non-profit organization, has partnered with the cities of Green Cove Springs, FL & Norfolk, VA to support our Veterans through various running events. Also part of the weekend events, are the Health & Fitness Expo in each city. We are hosting the t...he First Annual Green Cove Springs Freedom 8K Series. This event will take place over Memorial Day Weekend, May 28th - 30th, 2011. The race will be held in conjunction with the 23rd Annual Memorial Day Riverfest Celebration. FMI presents the Freedom 8K Series - Green Cove Springs, Florida. There will be over $4,000 in cash awards. Registered runners will have the opportunity to compete for a cash award.
