See Jane Run Half
Pulled up with a CRAZY cramp in the first .25 mile in my right calf. Stopped me dead in my tracks. Walked it off over the rest of the first mile. So much for running for a PR. It was a bit rough going for the rest of the run. But I did it. One more song at a time. Thankfully the weather held and it was cool, overcast and windless. Perfect day for a run. And with the champagne flowing at the end of the race and my girl, Chrissie, by my side, all in all it was a good morning. So on to the next run - Wharf to Wharf in July.

Yay, the rain gods kept it dry and the sun came out. Nice flat course with beautiful views along the waterfront. The champaigne and post-race goods were great. My only knock is that only ONE waterstop had electrolytes-- not good.

What a GREAT race! Everything from the hilarious and motivating warm up to the perfect weather for a half marathon, we were so happy! Thank you team SEE JANE RUN, we had a fabulous time! We have officially decided to make this run a tradition and are bringing ALL our girlfriends next year! Thanks for such a lovely experience for us first timers!
