RACE 3 - Part of a 3 race series to tune up for Shamrock Half/ Full Marathon. FIELD IS LIMITED TO 450 RUNNERS EACH DAY. Pre-registration is recommended to ensure entry and online entry via www.Racelt.comis strongly encouraged. Packet pick-up (including parking passes) w...ill ...be held at Final Kick from 5:00PM to 6:30 PM on the Fridays before each series date. Registration aJ packet pick-up and on race day will be available if entries have not reached our cap. Registration fee is $20 per race for Strider members and $25 for non-members. A $10 discount is available when registering for all three races (10-15-20K or 20-25-30K) by Dec.15th. Race Course: All races will begin and finish in the parking lot, just inside Shore Dr. gate to the main park. Parking will be across Shore Dr. in the campground parking area. The races will all be run on the main or Cape Henry Trail; maps will be available on the Strider website a few weeks in advance of each race which will indicate the location of water/aid stations as well as the turn-around points. The start will be a chip start and runners may start anytime between 8:00am and 9:00am. Finishline closure is based on a 90-minute 10K pace. read more
