New Bedford Half Marathon
For my first half, not bad. Came out too quick (obviously) and ran into a wall at 8. Managed to finish strong though, and now I know what to expect from the distance. Looking forward to training for another one this fall and taking down a very beatable PR.

about 1 year agoLooking to schedule a Meet Up before the race on Friday March 18, 2011 at the Catwalk Bar and Grille. More details to follow but mark it on your calendar.
over 1 year agoI did last year. I live in New Bedford and it gets better and better every year. Last year the city sponsored a scavenger hunt where race spectators and runners after the race could visit local restaurants for points and prizes. Three local bars gave away one free drink each to racers who presented their race bib. There was live entertainment and an overall very cool atmosphere. Looking forward to it again.

over 1 year agoFour of us and counting. Maybe we can do a Meet Up like the West Coasters do all the time. Maybe Pasta and Beer in Downtown New Bedford. Good luck with all your training.
