  Race Report

  Well. It was an interesting race. Ran strong the first 8 miles with no sign of serious fatigue. Then, I hyperventilated and had to slow way down. This was probably due to a host of things (lack of sleep being one) but also that I had psyched myself up to run a faster race than my body could handle. It ended rather horribly with absolutely nothing in the tank. Nonetheless, it was a learning experience. The course and post-race hospitality were excellent. Beautiful day. Free beer at the end!
