    Peachtree '11

    1st Peachtree and I enjoyed the race. For the number of runners, I believe this event was very well organized. I'm spoiled though, I like earning the finisher's medals and certificates and I don't do cotton tees :-) I see why this is an awesome event. I'm glad the lottery system was used this year. I believe that's the only way I was able to run this year. Look forward to 2012!

    Lenox to Piedmont Park

    Strategy executed to painful perfection. Blitzed the (downhill) first 5K, tried to hang on for the second half, kicked the last 800. Fastest PRR yet and 2nd fastest 10K ever... all in conditions that resembled a sauna on Venus.

    Race Report

    Good! Lots of people made it difficult to keep a steady pace so Nat and I ended up weaving in and out of the crowd. Not to mention it was one of the hottest days for the Peachtree in recent history. But I beat my time last year by two minutes and I was within the time frame I wanted. Can't wait to do it again next year. =)
