    Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

Was on pace for 4:30 until 23 km when I slowed down cause I had to go to the bathroom. Didn't see a port-a-pottie until 40km (I think I saw one around 22km or so). Not pleased. Started feeling ill.
Finally at 38km I couldn't take it anymore and found a bush to do my business. Thankfully it was only #1. But it slowed me down and I tried to pick up the pace but whenever I did it would make me want to vomit, so I slowed down. Held it together until the end. There were a few more times I wanted to vomit when I was at the end, but thankfully I didn't. Finally got some real food (besides race food) into me and I feel a little better. I had a build up of gas in my chest which I've never had on a run before, but I have had many times after a night of drinking alcohol. Kind of felt like that. Hence the wanting to vomit.
PR'd by 50 minutes, so really, I can't complain. 4:30 will be mine next year!
