    Columbia Tri Run portion

    Ran the run leg of our relay team: Team Momentum. I finished in less than my original goal time of 1:30 so I'm happy about that. It's a hard course. I did a lot more walking and it felt harder (and was slower) than when I ran the course 2 weeks ago. I think heat was a factor.

    But it was my first Tri and I had a blast. The volunteers and the competitors still on the course (I was one of the last people to finish!) were fabulous and encouraging. Made it that much easier. And now that I've gotten my feet wet (proverbially speaking since Kate N. did the actual swimming,) I'm encouraged to try a Tri on my own (shorter distance.)
