    Hocking Hills Indian Run 10k

This is a trail race so you're not going to have many spectators except when you run thru the campground areas. Would liked to have ran more trails, less roads and the 1 mile uphill [road] finish was tough. Ceramic arrowhead-shaped medals made by local school kids are a neat idea, shirts are cheap quality. I didn't see any aid stations and there was only water 2 water stops; no gatorade there or at the finish. End of race snacks, were so-so. If you're running long, bring your own food for the end and by all means, wear a hydration belt because you will not be hydrated well along the course.

Thought it was a good race. Did the 40K and there were definitely enough water stations along the way. I never once got lost, as I ran almost the entire first loop with nobody in front of me. There was more "road miles" than I expected, but that was my sole complaint. Cotton shirts (but the race entry was cheap so that was expected), awards were nice...really liked the "medals." Spectators...well, those were just the other runners on the course. I didn't expect any during a trail run anyway. I really enjoyed this event and will do it again.
