Most well managed ultra in India
Held at a meadow in Hessarghatta, close to Bangalore. Its multiple laps of a 12.5km loop through some lovely greenery and a meadow where you can see the horizon. But the trails are tough to run on. The distance categories are 25k, 50k, 75k and 100k, with a time limit of 12 hrs. The organisation running this 'Runners For Life', are composed of runners themselves, and they cater well to the needs of the runners. The aid stations are stocked with bananas, salted peanuts, glucose biscuits, PBJ sandwiches, electrolyte drinks, medical aid etc.
