Nice course marred by chaotic and indifferent organising
what does a runner do when he/she's asked to assemble 30 mins before a demanding half-marathon in sapping 89 percent humidity for a 6 am start and then kept waiting standing till 6:45 am for the actual flag-off??? No toilets or at least none visible near the start line, volunteers who don't know what the runners are asking about when u ask them where are the portas/loos? and in a few places, vehicles being allowed to cut across the cordoned off roads when the run was still on...finally a video cameraman being allowed to come crashing into a competitor sprinting to the finish line on tired sweat soaked legs (where were the organisers?)..saving grace..a lot of spontaneous cheering all along the route including from the cops on cordon duty...yep for my maiden half..am glad it ended well, crashing cameraman, sapping humidity notwithstanding!! is a run in my hometown after all :-))
