    Cedar Canyon Half Marathon

    This race had it's ups and downs for me... I did really well for the first 8.5 miles, but then my stomach started acting up. But even worse, my mind was acting up. The race took place in my hometown and I saw a lot of people from my high school days, some of that took me back to that insecurity that comes from adolescence.

    Aside from that, it was still a great race. The course is all downhill, so my quads are in major pain today. They served water and powerade on course. Post-race food was good; Great Harvest bread, apples, bananas, oranges. And you can't beat the scenery. As long as it works with my schedule, I'll do it next year.
